you sell fabrics?
Yes
we do sell fabrics in crepe, chamois
satin and chiffon only. These
are widely used as Sarees, dress
material, etc. Presently we sell these
to our known resellers. We do not sell
the fabrics through the web as we
still have not been able to find a way
in which we could sell such items in
the retail market.
Do
you offer sarees and outfits as shown
in the films ?
Yes we
do offer a wide range of outfits used
in Bollywood. We have a separate
section for Priyanka's Bollywood
services wherein we offer all sorts of
sarees, dresses, designer outfits that
are worn by famous stars in the films.

Do
you make outfits and sarees for the
Film industry ?
One
out of every five outfits you see in
the blockbuster films is designed and
made by Priyanka's. At the same time,
we must tell you that most of these
outfits do not look as good in reality
as they do on screen. There are two
types of sarees being made for movies:
A: Those for one-time use only.
The producer / director wants a
particular saree just for shooting
after which it is thrown away. These
sarees are made for a purpose, keeping
the camera angles and lighting in
mind, and then they are thrown away.
The fabric is terrible and the
handiwork only temporary. Certainly
not an outfit that you would like to
wear in real life!
B:
Some producers / directors order
perfect outfits that can be used again
after a shoot. The outfit can become a
gift for the star or for a relative.
These outfits are made perfect in
every sense -- fabric, design,
handiwork, etc.
Will
colors shown in the photographs remain
the same ?
Colors
as shown on the web catalogue may vary
from the paper photographs we have.
Actual colors shown as the process of
photography & printing involves a
lot of transitions and changes. If you
are very particular about the color,
our advice is that you mention this
point clearly in the special
instruction column while ordering.
Do
I have to stick to the same style? Can
I request different colors, hand work,
style etc.?
Yes and
No. To keep production prices
reasonable, we do not want to
encourage this. Also you have
over 12000 styles to select and we
constantly keep adding new designs. In
some cases we do so but this requires
continuous email exchange to
incorporate changes and in case
of any extra charges that are incurred
these are to be borne by the buyer
separately.
Will
you duplicate the fit of a favorite
outfit presently in my wardrobe?
Yes.
Just send your saree, Lungi, saree,
Blouse to us with your order or
send us the measurement details. We'll
even incorporate any changes you want.
We'll return it with your new ones.
Are
new designs available frequently?
Every
month we introduce new designs
as well
as
fabrics.
Let us know if you have a specific
request and we will try to find it
for you.
I am
particular about my blouse. What
happens
if the saree is fine but the blouse
fitting is not perfect?
Good
Question ! Let me tell you that as far
as stitching blouse is concerned we
have excellent expertise but there is
always some complain or the other.
These problems are surely not in our
control as we take all kinds of
precautions. There are many points
that have to be investigated regarding
fitting. Most of the figure conscious
women demand perfect fit blouses. We
recommend the following to avoid any
complains.
# Be careful when taking your
measurements.
# If you have any blouse that fits you
perfectly then please send it to us
and we will make you a ditto copy of
it.
# In case you are keen to get your
blouse stitched locally then you can
request for the matching blouse piece.
# You can even have us stitch a blouse
with the same fabric unstitched. In
most cases we do not charge extra it
they are from the bridal, party wear
section.
What
is the difference between Blouse and
Designer Blouse ?
Blouse
means a simple blouse matching to the
saree. in 60% cases these blouses have
a sleeve border same as the
saree border but they never have any
kind of embroidery , zardosi work, and
thread work.
Designer
Blouses always have some sort of work
such as embroidery , cut work,
zardosi , stone, etc. Most of these
blouse s
are made from different fabrics like
satin, velvet, etc., and matching to
the saree as far as color is
concerned.
Can
we give you the measurements by email
?
Yes you
may do so. But you should know the
correct field of measurements. Most of
our clients are not comfortable with
the measurements at the time of
placing the order. In this case you
should select the radio button "
Will submit the measurements after
".
You have two options: either save the
measurement page on your hard disk and
submit it whenever you feel like doing
so or else write to us and we will
give you the correct link to submit
the measurements.
Do
I have to worry about shrinkage?
All our
fabrics are pre-shrunk. Although there
is always a residual shrinkage of 2 -
3%, we allow for this shrinkage when
we make your outfits.
What
if I have a problem with the saree and
want it replaced ?
Primarily
our service is such that we give no
scope for any sort of problems.
However if such a situation does arise
then we do permit exchange of the
product. At Priyanka's we strive for a
110% customer satisfaction. And if
need be we are open to dialogue to
locate and rectify the error and
exchange the disputed merchandize.
There are no shipping charges when
replacing the merchandize. But at the
same time we do request the client to
bear the shipping cost when they send
it back to us.
What
kind of matching accessories do you
offer ?
Blouse
and petticoat are the essential
ingredient with a saree. Apart from
these we offer matching Bindi's and
Tika's , imitation jewelry or 90 touch
jewelry ( silver mix metal plated with
gold plating ), Hair pins and
other accessories such as, shoes,
shawls, scarf, etc.
What
sort of guarantee do you offer for
matching jewelry ?
We are
sure that you should not face any
problem for at least 12 months. But
all this depends on how you handle the
product, the weather conditions, etc.
Hence we do not offer any sort of
guarantee as such for imitation
jewelry.
